After graduatiing from the University of Virginia School of Law Samuel Engle served for 3 years as a captain in the Judge Advocate General's Corps. While in the Corps he tried courts-martial and cases before the court of military appeals. Since 1965 he has been practicing in Loudoun County and adjoining counties.
